Product Description

​The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-UT2-EX1 is a universal temperature converter designed for intrinsic safety applications. It connects RTDs, thermocouples, potentiometers, or voltage inputs in hazardous areas, providing a proportional 0/4 mA to 20 mA current output in sink or source mode. The device features 3-port isolation between input, output, and power supply, and is configurable via PACTware™ software. It also offers line fault detection and sensor burnout detection, achieving up to SIL 2 according to IEC 61508/IEC 61511 standards.
