The Keyence GS-M51P is a compact safety interlock switch designed for hinged doors in industrial applications. It features a robust locking force of 500N when engaged and approximately 30N when disengaged, ensuring secure door closure. The switch supports cascading up to 20 units, allowing for flexible system configurations. It offers a quick response time, with locking to unlocking in 250 ms and detection to non-detection in 20 ms, plus 2 ms per additional unit in the cascade. The GS-M51P is equipped with two PNP transistor outputs, each capable of handling up to 150 mA, and includes auxiliary outputs for non-safety-related functions. Designed for harsh environments, it boasts an IP65/67 enclosure rating and operates within a temperature range of -20 to 55°C.
