The Keyence PJ-V90 is a versatile base controller designed to operate with Keyence's PJ-V series light curtain sensors, including models PJ-V20, PJ-V21, PJ-V22, PJ-V40, PJ-V41, and PJ-V42. This controller is engineered for safety applications, offering a response time of up to 15 ms (ON to OFF), including the sensor head's response time. It complies with safety category 4 according to EN954-1 and is classified as a Type 4 Active Opto-Electronic Protective Device (AOPD) per IEC 61496 standards. The PJ-V90 supports both non-voltage and voltage external inputs and provides robust output capabilities, including 230 VAC at 4 A for FSD1/SSD and 115 VAC at 0.5 A for AUX outputs. With a power supply requirement of 24 VDC ±10% and a maximum power consumption of 20 W, it is suitable for various industrial environments.
