The 1747-AIC supports external power options to energize the coupler and any connected devices; technical documentation describes three external power configurations, including use of a 24 V DC supply. Rockwell Automation discontinued the 1747-AIC as of January 31, 2017, and it is no longer available for sale from the manufacturer.
