It is powered through a PBA-1 power block that accepts 105–130 V AC input and provides emitter-only output, aligning with Banner’s Multi-Beam product ecosystem. A 15-turn, top-access sensitivity control sits beneath a gasketed nylon screw cap for precise adjustment, while the on-board Alignment Indicating Device (AID) red LED lights and pulsates to indicate alignment and signal strength as the scanner detects its own modulated light. The upper cover houses the lens, and the lower cover is supplied with the scanner block, enabling straightforward setup and alignment. Built for rugged environments, the scanner block uses a reinforced VALOX housing with stainless steel hardware and meets NEMA 1, 3, 12, and 13 ratings. The Multi-Beam system is composed of three separate components—scanner block, power block, and logic module—sold separately, with the PBA-1 power block specifically used to power emitter-only scanner blocks.
