The 6.4 mm (1\/4 in) braid is packaged in approximately 2.27 lb lots per package. It meets USDA requirements for minimal food contact and FDA 21 CFR 178.3297, 177.2800, and 177.1550, with NSF\/ANSI Standard 61 certification and ACS certification for drinking water. The packing tolerates temperatures from -29°C to 232°C (-20°F to 450°F) and supports shaft speeds up to 9 m\/s (1800 fpm) with a maximum pressure of 22 bar g (325 psi).
