The Keyence LV-21AP is a PNP output main amplifier unit in the LV series of digital laser sensors, designed for precise distance measurement in industrial automation applications. It features two PNP open-collector control outputs, each capable of handling up to 30 VDC and 100 mA, with a maximum residual voltage of 1.0 V. The amplifier offers three response speeds—FINE (80 µs), TURBO (500 µs), and SUPER (4 ms)—to accommodate various detection needs. It also provides protection circuits including reversed polarity protection, over-current protection, and a surge absorber. The unit can be expanded with up to seven additional units, allowing for scalable configurations in complex systems.
