Product Description

The Keyence PG-610 is a compact amplifier unit designed for use with the PG series of optical passage confirmation sensors. It enables precise detection of small objects, offering a detection area of 21 x 21 mm and the ability to detect objects as small as 0.5 mm in diameter. The amplifier utilizes an infrared LED light source and features a 1-turn sensitivity adjustment trimmer for fine-tuning. It provides both control and self-diagnostic outputs with NPN configurations, supporting a maximum load of 100 mA and a residual voltage of 1 V. With a rapid response time of 0.2 ms and selectable off-delay times of 0.5 or 70 ms, the PG-610 ensures swift and reliable performance. Its polycarbonate housing is designed to withstand environmental conditions, with an operating temperature range of -10 to +50°C and resistance to ambient light up to 10,000 lux from fluorescent lamps and 1,500 lux from sunlight. The amplifier is powered by a 12 to 24 VDC supply and consumes a maximum of 40 mA.​
