The KEYENCE PZ-101 is a compact, built-in amplifier photoelectric sensor designed for precise detection in industrial automation applications. Featuring a focused-beam design with a visible red LED light source, it offers a detection range of 0 to 100 mm and a spot diameter of approximately 5 mm at 50 mm and 7 mm at 100 mm. The sensor is capable of detecting both transparent and opaque materials, with a hysteresis of up to 20% of the detecting distance. It supports selectable LIGHT-ON or DARK-ON operation modes via wiring and includes indicator LEDs for output, stable operation, and power supply status. With a robust IP67-rated housing and a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C, the PZ-101 is suitable for various demanding environments.​
