The Keyence SL-R11 is a safety control unit engineered for use with the SL-C Series safety light curtains, providing essential monitoring and control functions to ensure operator safety in industrial environments. It features a response time of 24 ms, including the sensor's response time, and offers safety outputs such as 230 VAC (4 A resistive load) and 30 VDC (2 A resistive load). The unit also includes auxiliary outputs for additional control functions. It operates on a 24 VDC ±10% power supply and has a current consumption of 150 mA or less. The SL-R11 is housed in a polycarbonate enclosure with an IP20 rating and must be installed within a control panel rated at IP54 or higher. Designed to withstand harsh industrial conditions, it operates within a temperature range of -10 to +55°C and relative humidity between 35% and 85% (no condensation). The SL-R11 complies with international safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards, including UL 61496-1 (Type 4 ESPE), UL 61496-2 (Type 4 AOPD), and UL 508.​
