The Mindman EPA-100-NPT is a compact, mechanically operated 3/2-way normally closed (NC) plunger valve designed for precise pneumatic control in automation systems. Featuring a 1/8" NPT threaded port, this valve operates with a metal piston that shifts to open or close the air passage. In its default state, the valve exhausts downstream air through a hole in the plunger when extended. When actuated, air flows from the inlet to the outlet, sealing the exhaust hole. This design ensures reliable switching with minimal space requirements, making it ideal for applications like limit sensing, end-of-stroke detection, or emergency stop functions.
