​The Omron CJ1W-MCH71 is a motion control unit designed for integration with CJ-series PLCs, featuring a MECHATROLINK-II interface for high-speed communication. It supports position, speed, and torque control modes, managing up to 32 axes (30 physical and 2 virtual). The unit utilizes a specialized motion control programming language, enhancing design efficiency and reducing tact time. It requires a 5 VDC supply from the backplane and 24 VDC from an external power source, with a maximum internal current consumption of 0.6 A. The unit's dimensions are 90 mm (H) × 79.8 mm (W) × 65 mm (D), and it weighs approximately 210 g. Please note that production of this model ceased in March 2015.
