The Omron CRS1-RPT01 is a Repeater Unit designed to extend and enhance the capabilities of CompoNet networks in industrial automation systems. By connecting Repeater Units in series from the Master Unit, up to two additional segment layers can be established, allowing for network expansion and greater flexibility in system design. This device facilitates the branching of trunk lines and the use of different cable types within the same network, contributing to more versatile and efficient network configurations.
