​The Omron E2C-EDR6-F is a high-precision inductive proximity sensor head designed for industrial applications requiring accurate detection of ferrous metals. It offers a sensing distance of 0.6 mm and features a shielded, cylindrical design with a 3 mm diameter and 18 mm length, making it suitable for integration into compact spaces. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, the sensor head ensures durability and is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water ingress. It operates within a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C and requires an amplifier for signal processing. Please note that the E2C-EDR6-F has been discontinued; however, Omron recommends the E2NC-EDR6-F as a suitable replacement.
