Product Description
The Omron E2K-X8ME2 is a capacitive proximity sensor designed for industrial applications requiring reliable detection of metallic objects. Encased in a durable M18 threaded cylindrical housing, it offers an 8mm sensing distance with a 100Hz response frequency. Operating within a supply voltage range of 10V to 30V DC, it features a 3-wire NPN-NC output configuration and is pre-wired with a 2-meter cable terminated with bare end flying leads. Its IP66-rated enclosure ensures protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for harsh environments with operating temperatures between -25°C and 70°C.
