Product Description

​The Panasonic CX-424-Z is a compact diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor from the CX-400 series, designed for precise object detection in space-constrained environments. It utilizes an infrared LED light source with a peak emission wavelength of 860 nm, offering a sensing range of up to 100 mm when detecting opaque, translucent, or transparent objects. The sensor features a repeatability of 1 mm or less and a response time of 1 ms, ensuring quick and reliable detection. It operates with a supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC (±10%) and consumes a current of 13 mA or less. The output is an NPN open-collector transistor with a maximum sink current of 100 mA, suitable for Light-ON or Dark-ON operation modes. Housed in a compact enclosure rated IP67, the sensor is protected against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for various industrial applications.
