Product Description

The Panasonic EX-31A-PN is a threaded miniature photoelectric sensor from the EX-30 Ver.2 series, designed for precise object detection in compact applications. This thru-beam sensor offers a sensing range of up to 500 mm, effectively detecting opaque objects with a minimum diameter of 2 mm. It operates with a supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC and consumes a maximum current of 10 mA for both emitter and receiver units. The sensor features a PNP open-collector transistor output, capable of sourcing up to 50 mA with a residual voltage of 2 V or less at 50 mA. With a rapid response time of 0.5 ms, it ensures quick and reliable detection. The robust design boasts an IP67 rating, making it suitable for industrial environments where protection against dust and water ingress is essential.
