​The Panasonic NA40-4SUD is a 4-beam receiver sub-unit designed for use with the NA40 series general-purpose area sensors. This sub-unit expands the sensing capabilities of the NA40 series by adding four beam channels, each with a 40 mm pitch, effectively increasing the sensing height by 120 mm. It operates within a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC and features NPN open-collector transistor outputs with a maximum sink current of 100 mA. The NA40-4SUD is housed in an aluminum enclosure with an IP65 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
