Product Description

​The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-CRG2-Ex1.D is a transmitter power supply and isolated barrier designed for intrinsic safety applications in hazardous areas. It supplies power to 2-wire and 3-wire transmitters, as well as 2-wire current sources, converting the input signals to a 0/4 mA to 20 mA output. The device features two relay contact outputs for alarm signaling, adjustable energized/de-energized delays, programmable high/low alarms, and a linearization function accommodating up to 20 points. It also includes line fault detection (LFD) and complies with up to SIL 2 according to IEC/EN 61508 and IEC/EN 61511 standards.
