​The Phoenix Contact IBS OPTOSUB-MA/M/R-LK-OPC-2MBD is an INTERBUS optical fiber converter module designed to transform the INTERBUS remote interface into a polymer fiber optic connection. This converter allows an INTERBUS controller board to be equipped with an optical fiber interface, enhancing data transmission capabilities. It features a 9-position D-SUB male connector for incoming remote bus connections and an F-SMA connector for outgoing optical fiber connections. The module operates at a data transmission rate of 2 Mbps, utilizing a typical wavelength of 650 nm for optical communication. One of its key advantages is the automatic regulation of optical transmission power, which improves bus system diagnostics through optical path monitoring.
