The PSM-ME-RS232/RS232-P is a serial isolator designed to enhance the immunity of RS-232 interfaces against electrical noise in industrial environments. It provides electrical isolation between two RS-232 devices, effectively preventing ground loops and protecting equipment from voltage spikes. Featuring a compact design, the device supports transmission speeds up to 115.2 kbps and ensures reliable data communication over distances up to 15 meters using shielded twisted pair cables. It is suitable for applications requiring robust and interference-resistant serial communication.
