The VAL-CP-1S-175 is a Type 2 surge arrester from Phoenix Contact, designed to protect single-phase power supply networks with separate neutral (N) and protective earth (PE) conductors. It features a plug-in design with a remote indication contact, providing visual and remote alerts for surge protection status. The arrester is rated for a nominal voltage of 120 V AC and offers high continuous operating voltages of 175 V AC for L-N and L-PE, making it suitable for networks with significant voltage fluctuations.
