Allen-Bradley 1756-OA16 Analog Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1756-OA16 is a ControlLogix 16-point digital output module that switches AC loads across 74–265 VAC. The standard OA16 version uses a 20-pin connectivity interface to provide 16 outputs for direct control of line-voltage devices from a 1756 ControlLogix I/O chassis. A variant, 1756-OA16I, offers isolated outputs (16 points) with a 36-pin connector for enhanced electrical isolation between backplane and load. These modules are part of Rockwell Automation’s ControlLogix I/O family and are intended for deployments where reliable, PLC-controlled AC load switching is required—examples include lighting control, motor starters via relays, and other AC-actuated loads.
