The Cisco ASR-920-24SZ-M Aggregation Services Router is a compact carrier-grade appliance designed for high-speed aggregation and edge routing in service provider and enterprise networks, featuring 24x Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports and 4x 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplinks. Included license ASR920-24G-4-10G enables 24x GE and 4x 10GE, and the unit provides 1x RJ-45 console and 1x Ethernet management port, with dual DC power supplies and a 1U, rack-mountable form factor. Operating on Cisco IOS XE, it supports BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN, including IPSec VPN and encryption, to serve metro Ethernet networks, edge routing and aggregation in enterprise edge locations, utility communication systems, and transportation infrastructure.
