SICK DT35-B15251 Photoelectric Sensor Through-Beam
SICK DT35-B15251 Photoelectric Sensor Through-Beam
Description:
SICK DT35-B15251 is a Dx35 series laser time‑of‑flight distance sensor designed for precise measurement in industrial automation. It yields a measuring range from 50 mm up to 12,000 mm (12 m), with performance that depends on target reflectivity—up to 12 m for surfaces with about 90% remission, around 5.3 m at 18% reflectivity, and roughly 3.1 m at 6% remission. The sensor uses a visible red laser (laser class 2 per IEC 60825‑1:2014) and emits a beam suitable for reliable detection across a variety of materials, with a typical light spot about 15 mm × 15 mm at 2 m. It operates on a 12–30 V DC supply and provides two outputs (Q1 and Q2); Q2 can be configured as a current (analog) output or a digital output, with a panel‑mount M12 connector for easy installation. Response times are configurable across distance and speed settings, typically ranging from 1 ms up to 32 ms, enabling fast sensing on conveyors, packaging lines, and automated cells. In practice, the DT35‑B15251 supports applications such as precise distance measurement, object presence verification, and process control where a compact, field‑ready laser distance sensor is required.
