3M Scotch 130C Linerless Rubber Splicing Tape is a black, linerless, self-amalgamating tape built on an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing with a rubber-resin adhesive. The roll is 0.75 in wide (19 mm), 30 ft long, and 0.030 in thick (0.76 mm), designed for splicing and terminating rubber-insulated cables. It is applied in successive half-lapped turns to fuse the tape to itself, producing a moisture-resistant seal that also guards the splice against mechanical damage.
