3M EC-3 Cold Shrink End Cap is a black EPDM rubber end cap for EC-Series cold shrink assemblies, designed to seal the ends of cables, pipes, and other cylindrical objects. It fits diameters from 26.0 mm to 49.2 mm (1.02 in to 1.94 in) and is packaged in cases of 10. The end cap is a close-ended, tubular sleeve that ships expanded on a removable core, shrinking onto the end when the core is removed, and installation does not require tapes or mastics. Part of the EC-Series, the EC-3 accommodates a wide range of sizes and is suitable for terminating or abandoning unused conduits and cable entries.
