AAC S623-50 DC Current Detector Module

The S623-50 DC Current Detector Module is a through-hole current-sensing device designed to monitor DC conductor current in panel installations and equipment enclosures. It handles a DC current range of 10–50 A through a 1.50-inch diameter aperture, allowing a single conductor to pass through the sensing element for detection. The unit features a barrier interface for wiring and can be ordered with an optional 1.50-inch diameter split nickel-plated copper bus bar to route the conductor through the detector. Powered by +25 to +45 VDC, it provides a relay-style SPST output with automatic reset for signaling when the sensed current crosses the setpoint. The housing is a plastic case suitable for industrial environments, and a dual bus-bar option is available for larger current paths. Common applications include DC power-distribution monitoring and rail-transit ground-fault detection, where rapid current sensing and a discrete alarm signal are important.
