Abanaki 1MEC1 TubeTastic 110V Oil Skimmer Motor is a 24-inch reach, side-mount tube skimmer designed to remove tramp oil from machine-tool coolant sumps. The 1MEC1 variant uses a 110 V, 1-phase, 60 Hz, fan-cooled continuous-duty motor for reliable, long-run operation. Oil is collected via an integral collector tube that passes through the sump surface and discharges the separated oil into a waste-oil container, enabling easy disposal without opening the sump. Standard TubeTastic tube lengths span 8, 12, 18 and 24 inches, with 24 inches matching the 1MEC1 configuration for mid-size sumps and chip conveyors. The unit mounts on the side of machining centers and requires minimal overhead clearance. The collector tube is made of plastic rated to 140°F, complemented by a rubber wiper for effective oil pickup. In the 1MEC1/STUBE1 family, maximum oil removal is up to 1.5 gallons per hour, offering a compact, low-maintenance solution to tramp oil in coolant systems.
