ABB 3BSE008514R1 Digital Output Relay Module

The ABB DO820 Digital Output Relay Module (3BSE008514R1) is an eight-channel NO expansion module for the S800 I/O family, delivering eight isolated Normally Open outputs that switch loads from 5 to 250 V AC or DC, up to 3 A per channel. Each channel has an optical isolation barrier, an output status LED, and a relay driver/coil network with EMC protection; the module is powered from the 24 V ModuleBus and includes voltage supervision that can trigger an error signal and a Warning LED if the bus voltage is lost (configurable). For integration, this DO820 supports independent channel isolation and is designed for ABB Advant 800xA or Freelance DCS environments, making it suitable for driving contactors, solenoids, and other industrial loads within specified voltage ranges. Termination units such as TU811, TU831, TU836, or TU837 are recommended for wiring the DO820 in an S800 I/O rack.
