ABB EF19-6.3 Electronic Overload Relay for Contactors

The ABB EF19-6.3 Electronic Overload Relay is a self-supplied, three-pole overload protection device designed to fit ABB AF family contactors and protect three‑phase motors against overload and phase failure on systems up to 690 V AC. It provides a configurable setting range of 1.9 to 6.3 A per pole, with per‑pole resistance about 2.1 mΩ and heat loss between 0.008 and 0.083 W per pole, enabling precise motor protection with minimal energy waste. The relay includes a normally closed trip contact and a normally open signal contact, supports automatic or manual reset, offers STOP and Test functions, and provides a trip indication along with a trip‑free mechanism to ensure safe restoration after a fault. Designed for ABB motor protection coordination (Type 2), it adds temperature compensation and is compatible with 20 A, Type gG fuses to coordinate with downstream protection.
