ABB Jokab Safety JSTD1-C Safeball Hand Switch is a DPDT two-hand control device housed in a rugged plastic Safeball and equipped with a 10-meter molded cable (4 conductors). It provides 1NO + 1NC independent switches, enabling dual-channel signaling for two-hand safety circuits with a maximum load rating of 30 VDC and 2 A resistive per channel. The IP67-rated enclosure protects the switch from dust and moisture, making it well suited for harsh industrial environments such as presses or forming equipment. In standard two-hand safety systems, two Safeballs are used together with an appropriate safety relay or Pluto Safety PLC, requiring simultaneous actuation to enable machine operation.
