ABB PHARPSCH100000 Power Supply Chassis, MPS III, is a two-slot chassis (WL72) designed to mount and service two redundant power supply trays for ABB automation cabinets. It provides mounting for two power trays, cooling fans, power output terminals, a DIN rail for the DC bus monitoring assembly, and a status output terminal connection for system health signaling. Cables connect the power terminals for 5 VDC, ±15 VDC, -15 VDC, and 24 VDC to the power bus bar for distribution to the cabinet, while the 48 VDC and 125 VDC terminals are reserved for field I/O devices. The design supports hot-swapping, with trays removable online; however, power to the tray must be switched off at the PEP before removal to prevent process upsets.
