ABB PSE72-600-70 Industrial Power Supply Module

ABB PSE72-600-70 Softstarter is a compact 72 A motor-start module for AC motors up to 600 V, designed to deliver a controlled voltage ramp and reduce inrush at start. The unit accepts 208-600 V AC mains and uses a 100-250 V AC, 50/60 Hz control supply, with a rated maximum operating current of 72 A and a current range of 21.6–72 A; ABB lists it as suitable for motor powers around 37 kW at 575 V. It includes built-in bypass for energy efficiency and easy installation, a two-phase control with soft start and stop via a voltage or torque ramp, and RUN, TOR, and Event signals on a relay output. Its illuminated display provides language-neutral status readouts, and an identical external keypad with IP66 rating can be added as an option. Protection features include overload and underload protection, locked-rotor protection, current limit, and kickstart; mounting uses screw terminals, and the enclosure is IP00 with a weight of about 3.2 kg.
