ABB TA25DU Thermal Overload Relay for Three Phase Motors

The ABB TA25DU Thermal Overload Relay provides three-phase motor protection by detecting overload, phase loss, and phase imbalance and disconnecting the circuit when the current exceeds its adjustable setting. This electromechanical relay can be mounted directly to ABB contactors or installed on a separate panel, with close-coupled or panel-mount installation and compatibility across ABB contactors such as A9-A40, AX9-AX32, AL9-AL40, and TAL9-TAL40 depending on model. It offers a current adjustment range of 0.10 A to 32 A, main circuit voltage ratings up to 690 VAC, and operation at 50/60 Hz. The TA25DU includes 1 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contact, a selectable manual or automatic reset, and a mechanical trip indicator. Rated IP10/IP20, it supports ambient temperatures from -25°C to +55°C and uses screw terminals for secure connections. It is approved to IEC, UL, and CSA standards and is designed for three-phase motor protection in applications such as conveyors, HVAC systems, pumps, mixers, compressors, machine tools, and material handling equipment within motor control centers and panel assemblies.
