Absolute Process Instruments API4058G Bridge/Strain Gauge/Load Cell Transmitter is a field-configurable signal conditioner that converts a raw strain-gauge, bridge, or load-cell signal into a stable DC output for control systems. It accepts a Bridge/Strain Gauge/Load Cell input from 100 Ω to 10,000 Ω with sensitivities from 0.5 mV/V to 120 mV/V, and it uses an excitation supply of 1–10 VDC. On the output side, it provides 0–1 V to ±10 V or 0–2 mA to 4–20 mA (sink or source), with a non-isolated output relative to the input. The API4058G is designed for quick field configuration, offering hundreds of input/output ranges and removable plugs for fast installation, marketed as “One Minute Setup for Hundreds of IO Ranges.” Power options vary by model, with a standard 115 VAC variant and other configurations supporting 85–265 VAC or 60–300 VDC, and the product family includes field-configurable excitation voltage and sensor mV/V ranges.
