Accurate Thermal Systems FTBSL25 Fluidized Temperature Bath

The Accurate Thermal Systems FTBSL25 Fluidized Temperature Bath provides precise, uniform high-temperature heating for immersed parts in a 7-inch diameter, 25-inch-deep working chamber, using a bed of inert aluminum oxide media to fluidize and transfer heat from 50 to 605°C. Powered by 240 VAC single-phase service, the system draws about 25 A (6 kW) and supports heavy-duty use with a working load up to 15 lb. The bath requires roughly 160–200 lb of aluminum oxide media, and the unit weighs about 175 lb (excluding media). Temperature performance at 500°C offers ±0.4°C stability and ±3.0°C calibrated accuracy, with radial uniformity better than 0.5 at 500°C. Heat-up to 600°C occurs in about 70 minutes under typical conditions. The FTBSL25 also features a cover and lid system to minimize media loss and keep the work area cleaner. Common applications include medical device shape setting, calibration, and reactor heating, where fast, uniform heat transfer and reliable temperature control are essential.
