ACE Controls GS19-300-AA-V310 Industrial Gas Spring

ACE Controls GS-19-300-AA-V310 Industrial Gas Spring is a push-type gas spring with a 19 mm outer diameter and a 300 mm stroke, designed to counterbalance and assist movement of panels, lids, doors, or guards in industrial equipment. It delivers up to 450 N of extension force at full travel, with an extended length of 664 mm, and uses a Ø8 mm piston rod housed in a Ø19 mm steel body, the outer housing coated in UV paint and the rod finished for wear resistance. The unit is filled with nitrogen gas and oil and includes a built-in valve for on‑site force adjustment; an integrated grease chamber helps minimize friction and wear over time. Mounting is possible in any position, though ACE recommends piston-rod-down orientation to maximize the effectiveness of end-position damping, which typically provides 20–60 mm of damping length depending on stroke. End fittings are interchangeable and must be positively secured by the customer to prevent unscrewing; operating temperature range is −20 °C to +80 °C.
