ACE Controls MC150 miniature shock absorber uses self-compensating rolling-diaphragm technology to deliver 175 in-lbs of energy per cycle with a 0.5 in stroke. Hermetically sealed rolling diaphragms in each unit help achieve a long service life—up to 25 million cycles—and allow direct installation in a pressure chamber to provide end-stop damping in pneumatic cylinders up to roughly 100 psi (7 bar). The design yields very low return forces and includes an integrated positive stop with a broad energy-capacity range, with MC150 variants supporting an effective weight range of 2–22 lb (MC150H, MC150H2, MC150H3 extend the range). A side-load adapter supports impact angles up to 25°, and stainless-steel options are available for enhanced environmental compatibility. Universal mounting inside a cylinder makes these miniature shocks suitable for a variety of applications, including material-handling equipment, packaging equipment, medium robotics, and machine tools.
