Acromag 16EI-20-I-20-1 Isolator

The Acromag 16EI-20-I-20-1 Isolator is a galvanically isolated 4-20 mA signal isolator that accepts a 4-20 mA input and reproduces an isolated 4-20 mA output, shielding the control side from process-loop noise and ground loops. It is powered from 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, drawing about 0.1 A. This model provides isolation performance suitable for industrial environments, with withstand ratings up to 1500 V AC for 60 seconds and continuous common‑mode protection of 250 V AC or 354 V DC, helping protect connected equipment from transients and surges. The 16EI-20-I-20-1 variant is designed for applications requiring isolation between measurement or instrumentation loops and control electronics, such as distributed control systems, SCADA instrumentation, and other process-monitoring setups that rely on a standard 4-20 mA signal.
