Acromag CSA-4683-TTMI Repeater

Acromag’s 4683-TTM RS-485 to RS-485 Network Repeater (UL/cUL listed energy management equipment) extends BACnet MS/TP or Johnson Controls N2 RS-485 networks by enabling an additional 4000 ft of distance per repeater while accommodating up to 32 devices on the extended leg. The unit provides two RS-485 sides (A and B) with field-selectable end-of-line terminations on both sides, operates transparently with no handshake, and includes transient protection on each RS-485 side; baud rates are switch-selectable across 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, and 76800 baud. Available power variants include 115V AC (1F), 230V AC (2F), and 24V AC (3F), with typical current draws of 0.05 A at 115 V, 0.03 A at 230 V, and 0.18 A at 24 V; the module supports Modbus-RTU over RS-422/485 and mounts on a base plate or inside a compatible enclosure. Measuring 7 × 4.5 × 2.5 in and weighing 48 oz, it includes status LEDs to indicate power and data direction, and is designed for lab, office, or field installation where extended RS-485 networks are needed.
