Action Instruments Q488-0001 Isolator Module

The Action Instruments Q488-0001 Isolator Module is a DIN-rail mounted, DC-powered isolating signal conditioner engineered for universal inputs, delivering 1800 V isolation between input, output and power to protect control systems while conditioning signals from sensors such as RTDs, thermocouples, and low-level mV or ohm sources. The input side supports RTD sensors (Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000) in 2-, 3-, or 4-wire configurations and common thermocouple types, enabling field configurability for a range of measurement applications. Output is isolated and configurable as DC voltage 0–10 V or DC current 0–20 mA, with supply voltage 9–30 V DC and typical power consumption around 2.5 W. The module occupies 22.3 mm of DIN-rail width and is designed to snap onto a standard DIN rail after configuration, simplifying installation in enclosures or panels.
