ADF HD67181FSX Fiber Repeater Extender Bus Line Module

HD67181FSX is a CAN-to-optic-fiber repeater that extends CAN 2.0A/B networks up to 2000 meters while providing galvanic isolation between CAN branches. The module integrates 1x CAN port (3-pin terminal block), 1x Ethernet RJ45 interface, and 1x fiber-optic interface with ST connectors for two multimode fibers (62.5/125 μm), supporting CAN data rates up to 1 Mbps and fiber data rates up to 1 Mbps. It is designed for DIN-rail mounting and weighs about 200 g with compact dimensions of 120 × 23 × 107 mm. Power can be supplied via 12–35 V DC or 8–24 V AC (variants may differ by distributor), and four front-panel LEDs report supply and communication status. The operating environment covers −40 °C to +85 °C with 10% to 80% non-condensing humidity, making it suitable for harsh industrial settings. For a complete extended route, two HD67181FSX units are required to bridge the CAN segments via fiber, enabling long-haul, electrically isolated communication without modifying copper cabling. The device’s fiber interface and DIN-rail form factor streamline integration into existing CAN networks while preserving signal integrity across extended distances.
