Advantech ADAM-4060 Data Acquisition Module

Advantech ADAM-4060 is a four-channel relay output module in the ADAM-4000 data acquisition family, delivering isolated, dry-contact switching over an RS-485 serial interface. It supports Modbus RTU for straightforward integration with PLCs and control systems, enabling remote device control and signaling in industrial environments. The module provides two Form A (normally open) and two Form C (changeover) relay outputs, offering flexible wiring configurations for mixed loads. Relay contact ratings include 0.6 A at 125 VAC, 0.3 A at 250 VAC, and 2 A at 30 V DC (with additional DC ratings up to 0.6 A at 110 V DC depending on load type), making it suitable for a range of signaling and switching tasks. Electrical isolation between the relay contacts and the communications/logic circuitry is specified up to 500 VAC, helping protect control electronics from field-side transients.
