Advantech AWS-8430TP Operator Terminal is a 12.1-inch SVGA panel PC with a resistive touchscreen interface (TP), designed for industrial automation tasks and accessed via RS-232. As part of the AWS-8430 series, it offers four ISA and two PCI expansion slots, a 300 W 110/220 V AC power supply, and a 3.5-inch slim FDD for legacy storage needs. The TP variant ships with a PCA-6654LB PCI VGA card by default to drive the display, ensuring compatibility with traditional graphics cards. Optional CANopen, DeviceNet, or PROFIBUS support can be added by request to connect with a range of industrial fieldbus networks. Built as an industrial automation platform, the AWS-8430TP targets operator interfaces on manufacturing lines, machine control panels, and process monitoring where expandable I/O and reliable performance are required.
