The Advantech IDS-3217R-35SXA1E is a 17-inch SXGA panel-mount industrial monitor featuring an LED-backlit 1280x1024 display with 350 nits brightness and 800:1 contrast. It includes a 5-wire resistive touchscreen (with an option for a 3 mm tempered glass overlay) and a combined RS-232/USB touch interface alongside VGA and DVI video inputs. The unit ships with a built-in frame and supports front and VESA mounting. It operates from -20 to 60°C (storage -30 to 70°C) and 10–90% non-condensing humidity. The display covers 16.7 million colors, offers 170°/160° viewing angles, and weighs 4.7 kg with external dimensions of 425.0 x 357.5 x 39.0 mm. Backlight life is rated at up to 50,000 hours (typical 40,000 hours). On-screen display controls include Auto-tune, Menu, and brightness/contrast adjustments; USB and RS-232 are reserved for touch use. Note that power supplies and related peripherals are not included.
