Advantech PCI-1784 Quadrature Encoder Counter PCI Card

Advantech PCI-1784U is a 4‑axis quadrature encoder and counter card for the PCI bus, designed to add precise position and pulse counting to a PC‑based control system. It decodes quadrature signals with X1, X2 and X4 modes across four encoder channels, with encoder inputs exposed through DB37 connectors and counter inputs on a 68‑pin SCSI header. The card latches the counter value on the rising edge of encoder pulses, enabling exact capture of motion data, and it provides 8 isolated digital I/O lines for auxiliary I/O tasks.
