Advantech PCI-1784U 4-Axis Quadrature Encoder and Counter Card

Advantech PCI-1784U is a 4-axis quadrature encoder and counter card for the PCI bus that provides four 32-bit up/down counters with AB-phase encoder decoding and supports x1, x2, and x4 counting per encoder cycle for precise position tracking. It includes four isolated digital inputs and four isolated digital outputs (optically isolated up to 2,500 VDC) and supports both single-ended and differential encoder inputs. The card features an on-board 8-bit timer with a wide-range time-base selector, a four-stage digital filter with selectable sampling rate, and multiple interrupt sources to enable high-precision motor control and position-monitoring applications. A BoardID switch simplifies device identification, and software can drive the card from common languages such as C#, C++, LabVIEW, VB.Net, and other development environments.
