AECO SI12-DCE8-NPN-NO-S Inductive Proximity Switch

AECO SI12-DCE8-NPN-NO-S is a compact 12 mm diameter inductive proximity switch with an M12x1 threaded housing designed for non-contact metal detection in automation equipment. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC and draws less than 15 mA at 24 V, delivering a sinking NPN normally-open output capable of up to 200 mA with a voltage drop under 1.8 V. The device switches at up to 600 Hz and presents a switching distance Sn of 8 mm, a real sensing distance Sr of 8 ± 10%, and an operating range So from 0 to 6.48 mm. It includes reverse‑polarity protection, short‑circuit protection, and overload protection, and carries an IP65/IP66/IP67 protection rating for rugged industrial use. The housing is nickel‑plated brass with a grey POM sensing face, and it terminates with a 2 m PVC cable (3 conductors, 0.25 mm²).
