The AECO SI8-C1-NPN-NO inductive proximity switch is an 8 mm diameter stainless‑steel cylindrical sensor with a normally open NPN output, designed for fast, contactless metal detection in compact automation. It delivers a nominal sensing distance Sn of 1.5 mm (real distance Sr about 1.5 mm with a tolerance of roughly ±10%), and operates on a DC supply of 6–30 V with a maximum load current of 200 mA; the active output voltage drop is typically under 1.8 V, with switching frequencies up to 2000 Hz.
